Art Hall Vienna Project Space

The first Art Hall at the Karlsplatz was errected by Adolf Krischanitz in the Year 1992,
designed as a temporary exhibition building for year-round use. With the completion of the
museum quarters the building becam obsolet. But the place had become an important location
of the contemporary art discourse. The neu "Art Hall Project Space" is in the traditon
of this cultural success story which started with an interim solution. The building itself is
considered to be a perfect Post-Mies-Minimal-Architecture.
