Alvar Aalto - Finland
Staff Housing
Paimio
1930

This two-storey, flat-roofed building was designed by Alvar Aalto as staff housing.
With its white rendered appearance it clearly speaks the language of architectural modernism.
Designed and realized during the 1930s, the building contains four flats with varying numbers of bedrooms on the lower floor,
while upstairs are eight
one-roomed flats, each consisting of a bed-sitting room and a tiny kitchenette.
