Bruno Elkouken - France
Apartment Building - Paris
Boulevard Raspail 216, Paris
1932

Designed by Bruno Elkouken, this building of a modernist architectural language is inserted in a traditional Parision streetfront.
The façade of the building is considerd to be an abstract composition. This is accentuated by the black metal parts, of an almost graphic qualitiy.
The main view is dominated by two large multi-storey bay windows. The ground floor entrance is marked by a large canopy.
The top floors are stepped back in relation to the neighbouring buildings.
