Giuliani Hönger - Switzerland

The Zurich based architectural office Giuliani Hönger was founded in 1991 by the architects Lorenzo Giuliani (born in 1962) and Christian Hönger (born in 1959).
Both of them studied at the ETH Zurich, however, Christian Hönger previously studied already at the technical school in Winterthur.
In the 1990s both were active as assistants at the ETH Zurich. Later they taught at various schools in Switzerland.
With their office, they won several architectural competitions. With the building of the University of Applied Sciences Sihlhof in Zurich,
they gained widespread recognition for the first time. The buildings by Giuliani Hönger are widely published and won several awards.
