From 1959 to 1966, the architect François Maurice was able to design and build the headquarters of the employers' unions in Geneva. The building is located in sloping terrain above the Rhone with a view of the Parc Saint-Jean. The considerable differences in height of the surrounding streets made it necessary to build a base on which the actual building rests. The building entrance is above this base. A generously covered ground floor with a height of 4.0 meters gives access to the entrance hall. The actual building consists of four identical volumes with a square basic shape and a narrow intermediate wing in which the staircase is located. The entire composition is based on a square grid with a module dimension of 1.65 meters. The four square volumes are each supported by four pairs of reinforced concrete columns. The pairs of columns are arranged on the outside of the facade and positioned identically on each side. By moving the two columns to the center, the corners remain free. The marginal fields each consist of 3 modules, the central field between the pair of columns only consists of two modules. The curtain wall made of painted steel and insulating glass hides supports and ceiling edges. The fixed glazing is held in aluminum profiles. The interiors are fully air-conditioned. The cupboards and partitions have been designed to be mobile, so that the floor plans can be subdivided freely. The reception rooms and a canteen are located on the seventh floor.

In den Jahren 1959 bis 1966 konnte der Architekt François Maurice den Hauptsitz der Arbeitgebergewerkschaften in Genf entwerfen und realisieren. Das Gebäude befindet sich in abfallendem Gelände oberhalb der Rhone mit Ausblick auf den Parc Saint-Jean. Die markanten Höhenunterschiede der umgebenden Strasse machten den Bau eines Sockels, auf dem das eigentliche Gebäude ruht, notwendig. Über diesem Sockel befindet sich der Gebäudezugang. Ein grosszügig überdachtes Erdgeschoss mit einer Höhe von 4.0 Meter ermöglicht den Zugang in die Eingangshalle. Das eigentliche Gebäude besteht aus vier identischen Volumen mit quadratischer Grundform und einem schmalen Zwischentrakt, indem sich das Treppenhaus befindet. Die gesamte Komposition beruht auf einem quadratischen Raster mit einem Modulmass von 1.65 Meter. Die vier quadratischen Volumen werden jeweils von vier Säulenpaaren aus Stahlbeton getragen. Die Säulenpaare sind aussen an der Fassade angeordnet und an jeder Seite identisch positioniert. Indem die beiden Säulen zur Mitte bewegt werden, bleiben die Ecken frei. Die Randfelder bestehen jeweils aus 3 Modulen, das zentrale Feld zwischen dem Säulenpaar besteht lediglich aus zwei Modulen. Die Vorhangfassade aus lackiertem Stahl und Isolierglas verdeckt Stützen und Deckenkanten. Die Festverglasungen sind in Aluminiumprofilen gehalten. Die Innenräume sind komplett klimatisiert. Die Schränke und Trennwände wurden mobil ausgestaltet, so dass die Grundrisse frei unterteilbar sind. In der siebten Etage befinden sich die Empfangsräume und eine Kantine.
